Very interesting historical site. They were chinking the logs in the old buildings when we were there. The site is very well kept and has a nice visitor's center.

Fort Caspar Museum is a great place to get the real history of the area and learn more about frontier life. They have a variety of exhibits, some permanent and some that change, and on some weekends have special events.
