The area around Cody, Wyoming holds such history. It is always fun to take my visitors to our natural history locations and see their reactions. June, July, August, and September are the greatest months to guide friends on an adventure.

We went on the Chief Joseph Hwy on our way to the NorthEast gate into Yellowstone. This was an overlook that was really great.

Deathly afraid of heights, but my family walked out and enjoyed the view - It's amazing even from the car - like you're touching the clouds.

One hour just east of Cody. Beautiful drive up Chief Joseph Byway. Story of this area is interesting. Heart mountain has great WWII history. Geogrphically it is up side down. Older rocks on the top.
