Stop over in Evanston on April 15/17 and had time to visit the Park. Bear River wonders through the Park and some lovely walks along the banks. Bison and elk in the Park enclosures and make for good viewing. Worth a visit.

It is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. You can hike or take a short walk. Enjoy the wildlife and the scenery. I visit for parties, family events and just to walk the dog. There is a leash requirement, but the dogs love to be away from town. I visit too often to answer the following questions. There is... More

We have been here a few times, we like the Elk and the Buffalo that roam the fenced area at the park. We like to walk the river to relax after a day of driving. We have never stayed there, but visit every time we are in Evanston.

This is by far my favorite place in Evanston. It's open 365 days a year during daylight hours, regardless of the weather. They have bison and elk right alongside the road so you can get some good pictures and see the animals. They also have an extensive trail system (some paved, some dirt) for hiking and biking. If you're on... More

Great place to stop while traveling through Wyoming. We stopped while pulling our travel trailer to South Dakota. Access is really easy. The visitor center was great. Good place to picnic and walk around and look at the buffalo and elk. Walk along the river, easy trails. If your traveling with a trailer like most spots in Wyoming they have... More

Great way to see Wyoming wildlife firsthand. Elk and Bison can be seen and if you really lucky might even see a Moose traveling through the park. Good for cross country skiing and families can sled on the hill. Visitor center good showcase of what Wyoming has to offer travelers. A very good time.

Highly maintained, walk by the river and enjoy the wildlife. The bison and elk are fenced, but watching them was a treat. Magpies sitting on the bison was enjoyable.

We were in SLC for an Archery camp and had a day to spare so we headed to Wyoming to see the world. First off, what a beautiful drive. Minimal cars on the interstate, and everyone is so courteous on the road. (Coming from SW FL, that is rare) The drive was great, took us about 1.5 hours to get... More
