Spent the day hiking and exploring the Sinks Canyon area! What a beautiful park, from the trout pool (I have never seen such big trout!!) to the waterfall, and trails. Take a picnic lunch and venture further into the Shoshone national park, that too will...More

It is a grand view in the canyon, exploring to the top with the lakes so clear and clean. The disappearing water and outlet were also enjoyable to view.

We hiked through here on our way to the Winds. Popo Agie ("Po PO zha") river is really pretty, and the falls are marvelous: definitely worth the hike up. Rather unusual, the way the spilt around upper rock outcrops and cascade down in three -places.

Great canyon to drive thru. Plenty of views to photograph. The canyon is a natural pathway into and over the Wind River Mountains.

It's just under 100 miles away in Thermopolis, which take 1.5-2 hrs to drive. It's a beautiful drive down the Wind River and across the desert. As long as you are going to Thermop, consider also going to the hot springs... More
