Drove across the park road on US 16, which is a very cool road and very scenic. Very curvy and mountainous as you might imagine. This was in summer. Then, we went backpacking in the cloud peak wilderness, which was also amazing (scenic, secluded, quiet).

We drove through the forest right at dusk. This was our own stupid mistake. As soon s we entered, it started raining on us and we were swallowed up by fog. Worst drive of my life. I couldn't see more than one strip of the...More

It is a beautiful park with a diverse countryside. It is truly a hidden gem. It was so much more than we expected with the canyons and trails. It is definitely worth your time.
