We joined the 7am tour and it was great to arrive at the monument before any other tours. The fish there are friendly. We saw a baby turtle while snorkeling and dolphins from a distance on the way kayaking back.

I've been to Hawaii a few times, and have done all kinds of activities and this was by far THE BEST!!! We did the 7 am tour. It was great because there was no one when we got there and had the place all to ourselves the whole time!!! Mike and Gerrod were great guides, very friendly and great local... More

This is my type of tour as there were three other couples and our guides. Our tour started at 7 AM which is the time I highly recommend. Our tour guides Mike and Jared were there on time and the tour started in a timely manner. At 7 AM your the only ones out there except the dolphins and birds.... More

We did the afternoon session - able to enjoy the dolphins a bit longer without pressure to get back in time for next group. Nice to have - shoes that can get wet, sunscreen. medium towel. There are no showers at departure site but a short block away are bathrooms and outdoor shower so you can rinse off at the... More

My husband and I visited Hawaii for our first time a few weeks ago. We decided to book one guided tour-type adventure and I came across Adventures in Paradise. To be honest, we came across this by chance and didn't do a whole lot of research besides making sure it was legit and that it fit our budget. Not even... More

The best way to see amazing Kealakekua Bay. Our tour guide Mike was the best. He was always looking out for our safety and comfort. He told amazing stories of the history of the Bay on the way to and from and the story of Captain Cook's demise. Going early in the morning we beat all the other boats there... More

Captain Mike and Gerod (sp?) were both great. Brought the story of Captain Cook alive and helped us to understand the history of this special place. The snorkeling was the best I've ever experienced. Go for the early trip, at 7 am. You'll arrive before any crowds and that REALLY matters. A magical experience.

Short Boattrip across the bay. Very good snorkeling, best visibility, warm water, many fish and a turtle. For kids and beginners very safe!

What a great trip. A lovely way to see Kealakekua Bay. It was an early start (we left Waikoloa at 5:30 am to arrive at the pier for a 7 am start) but well worth it as the bay was EMPTY when we arrived via kayak at 7:30 am. By the time everyone else showed up in boats we'd been... More

Had an amazing day snorkeling and kayaking. The staff, Mike and Gerod, were great and very engaging about Hawaiin culture and history. Extremely nice, funny and informative. We saw some amazing fish along with some other sea creatures. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are staying on the Big Island. Take the morning tour before the other tour... More
