Afternoon Sail & Snorkel Captain Cook Monument at Kealakekua Bay

105 reviews
Kealakekua Bay is known to have some of the best snorkeling locations in Hawaii. Board a trimaran and head out into the bay on this convenient excursion that includes snacks, bottled water, snorkel and safety gear, and reef-safe sunscreen. Throughout the tour, your captain and crew provide little-known facts about the area’s history marine life, as well as snorkeling tips for guests with any level of experience.

This coffee center has a lot going for it. 1. It's got coffee, obviously, and lots and lots of samples. Try all the varieties to see what your palate prefers. 2. There is a lava tube on property that you can walk through 3. The flowers on the property are beautiful. Take a look at my pics. 4. The is a lot to learn about the history or coffee an other fun signage about Hawaii Overall it was a much better stop that I was expecting.

On a day trip from the island of Oahu by air, we did a tour of this island and in the afternoon we stopped at the Royal Kona Coffee Center where we were permitted to walk round and taste a number of flavours of their produced coffees, and purchase some of their products and also buy some souvenirs. Highly recommended.

Royal Kona Coffee Center offers may free samples and provides for a self guided tour of their coffee processing. There is also a small lava tube that is very interesting to walk though. They have a store where you can buy their products and much more.

We visited the Royal Kona Coffee Center as part of a Grand Circle Island Tour. Much of the explanation of the Center was provided by our tour guide, and the local staff didn't provide much additional information. Lots of coffees and teas to sample and a nice gift shop. Unfortunately, Royal Kona's coffee does not fare well in recent Kona cupping competition, and was not even among the ten best Kona coffees. Can walk around the facility. Didn't see any roasting taking place.

I absolutely love that the only prerequisite to trying as much coffee as you'd like is that you have to climb a few stairs. (not sure if there's a handicap entrance) You don't have to talk to anyone or anything, just walk up and sample away! If you're not a coffee drinker, they have 3 tea samples. Love the green tea with yuzu, delicious There is a lava tube nearby, so 2 attractions in one!
