We walked to Coconut Island as part of our walk through the park. It is a very small island. My husband and son had fun jumping off the tower in to the bay with some of the locals. There were bathroom facilities on the island.

Looking for a perfect spot to have a family gathering and/or a picnic lunch, stop by here. Great local area, plenty of swimming with calm waters and a 30ft tower you can jump off of. Mahalo!

Had a great walk there on an unusually dry morning in Hilo. Close to the hotels on banyan drive, this is free fun. Some swimming and beaching and good walking.

We were here for the local King Kamehameha celebration. Nice park with swimming and fishing. Park was clean and everyone was very friendly. We had some great local food too (Kaluha pig)
