This botanical garden is a relaxing stroll downhill through and around exotic flowers, covered arbors, among varied fruit trees, nut trees, and coffee trees. After you get to the bottom, there is a covered lanaii with an infinity pool and coffee samples, and if you're lucky, some fruit to munch on. I learned that it is ok to pick some... More

This expansive garden allows a stroll down a steep steep hill (on a paved path). The gardens include exotic Hawaiian fruits that you can sample off the trees and unusual flowers. It is absolutely peaceful (uncrowded!) and outstandingly beautiful. When you reach the bottom of the gardens, there is an infinity pool with a view of the harbor and all... More

There are many lovely flowers and trees here, including a beautiful arched arbor framing a fountain. Also coffee trees and citrus trees. A free sample of their coffee is offered at the end of the walk. A very welcome ride in a van is given back up to the parking lot as it is all set on a steep hill.... More

Close to home we visited the other day. Casual stroll down hill through various gardens including impatiens, queen palms, numerous coffee trees and tall grasses. The downhill stroll ends at a large semi circle infinity pool with spectacular views of downtown ( on a clear day ). Coffee samples are offered and opportunities to purchase although a bit $$$. The... More

We went here as a part of a guided trip. I wouldn't have chosen to go here if it had not been included on the itinerary. I was very surprised with how beautiful it was. The setting where we had lunch was gorgeous.

My mom and I were trying to go to Hula Daddy but it didn't open until 10 so we stopped at Mauka Meadows as it opened at 9 am, and this was such a fantastic spur of the moment decision! After parking you stroll through a pathway of flowering arches and fruit trees, bubbling fountains and spectacular views at every... More

The $5 fee is worth admission to this unique property. The walk down is through groves of fruit trees, coffee trees and various plantings. There was even a little flock of wild turkey, which was odd to see in Hawaii. At the covered terrace area we were offered samples of hot coffee and a quick no-pressure sales pitch on the... More

It was July in 93F heat at the beach and we needed to cool down in the afternoon. The Mauka Meadows is in the mountain above Kona. Ah, what a nice place to get away from the heat. Its almost free. The gardens are fabulous, there was a nice lady that gave us a coffee near a superb artificial pond... More

This is a great garden to visit. Very well kept with great views out across the Pacific. Excellent free coffee at the infinity pool. Steep walk, but well paved. Grannies biscuits
