Located behind Waimea secondary school, behind post office. Follow the signs. Yes, there are 3 farmers markets on Saturday in Waimea. Each one has different vendors. This has great greenhouse tomatoes & greens. Opens @ 7:00am

So many good vendors have left this market and moved to other farmers markets in Waimea...the best being the Waimea town farmers market at Parker school... The food vendors at the Parker School market are fantastic...great fresh produce, and very affordable prices.. You won't want to miss the fresh bakery products..breakfast frittatas, Lilikoi butters, honey..berry tarts and pies...on and on...... More

There are several competing Farmers Markets in Waimea. Lots of confusion about which is which. This review for the one behind the Waimea Elementary & Middle School. Don't waste your time on this one - has the feel of a school penny supper/ carnival. A dozen or so vendors at most. Very little if any produce. I think this used... More

Yes, there is great produce and interesting crafts, but there are so many food stands it was hard to choose. We had the Mexican...a chili relleno made right in front of me...perfect. My husband's burrito was great too. Would like to have tried the pastries, several stands with those, and Portuguese too, but no room. Brought home coffee and macadamia... More

Wonderful produce and lovely fruit fly people! If they have their corn, be sure to get some!! Wherever you go on this Island, don't skip any of these markets. Three fabulous papayas for $5...take that, Mainland!!!

We stopped here when we were driving through Waimea, but had not previously heard about it. Really the best one we went to during our two weeks in Hawaii. Much better than both Kona (a dump) and Hilo. It is small, but obviously very local. We felt lie the only tourists there. They had numerous crafts, lot of different kinds... More

Be patient. Everyone is Ohana (family) here, and you'll often find a stall tender chatting at length with the customer in front of you. The wait is worth it! Excellent local produce and products and friendly vendors. Great Saturday AM activity and conveniently located in Central Kamuela(Waimea). One recent downside, there are now 3! competing Farmers Markets on Saturday AM,... More

Lots of great produce, baked goods, crafts, and flowers. We've been there the past three Saturdays and the available items are consistently good and fresh. Definitely worth a visit

Bought some homemade jams, honey, a couple giant avocados for $1, some lemonade (lilikoi flavored), and a tasty bratwurst with saurkraut.

Bring your bags and load up on produce and perhaps flowers and honey. Go close to opening time rather than toward the end if you want the best selection.
