The "tour" involves just looking into some windows to see inside the factory. When we stopped by, production was shut down so we didn't even see that. We did the "Nature Walk" and tried some macadamia nuts to pass the time, but there are more...More

Sadly, the self guided tour is highly lacking. It takes 5 mins max and the video wasn’t working. It’s neat seeing the trees on the drive in, however, Costco has better prices.

This is the facility that processes and packages the famous Mains Loa macadamia nuts, but they don't offer actual "tours.". There are windows for the public to look in on part of the process, but they should not advertise it as a tour. There is...More

I would not go out of my way to stop here. The products for sale are cheaper at Wal-Mart than the factory, The folks working the show room are very stingy on the samples and you feel like you are begging to try some Mac...More

This is a bit of an odd tour. You don’t actually get to go inside. You go up a flight of stairs and look down as the staff go to work. The main area was going in full force when we were there, but the...More

Nice store, gardens and plenty of nuts. You will find a good assortment of their nut products and a few gifts or souvenirs. Unfortunately their products are usually less expensive at the chain stores around town. This is a hotspot for many of the tour...More

Nothing special, self guided tour looking through windows of the processing plant on how the nuts are sorted, mixes added, roasting & chocolate covering is done. TV monitors explain the process. Would like to have more information on the overall growing process of the nut,...More
