Great beach - lots to explore

This beach has some good snorkeling and provides a great place to take in the Sunset. Lot's of free parking a short walk from the beach.

We walked to this beach from the HIlton because we wanted to check out a beach. I wasn't very impressed with this beach though. There are plenty of other beaches that are a short drive away that are much prettier.

This beach was ok. The sand is not soft to walk on. There is some trees for shade. Our son liked playing in the rock pools. No turtles to be seen. There are many nicer beaches nearby.

We call this place A-Beach short for Anaehoomalu Beach and love to come to this scenic beach. Mostly locals come here including the Waikoloa Outrigger Canoe Club at one end of the crescent beach. You can rent a kayak or paddle board and go out into the ocean for a wonderful day in the sun.

If you are staying in Waikoloa, this is a beautiful beach to explore - don't just stay near the Hilton/Marriott - the further south you wander, the nicer the beach becomes. You'll also likely see turtles and dolphins on your journey. At the north end, there's some exercise equipment (rope climbs, pull-up bars, etc), which my kids really enjoyed. Also,... More

Sand is pretty fine but if you have sensitive feet like me I suggest you wear water shoes. Not too crowded. Lounge chairs available but get there early. Rental equipment and tours are also available. Can hike to Hilton Hotel via the oceanfront.

It looks nice and clean with trees aro u nd. However, the water was not very clear, compared to Hapuna beach, which is also much larger beach. We did see few flying fish but overall, Hapuna beach was way better!

The locals call it 'A Bay', a well kept secret. Free parking with a drop off area closer to the beach. Clean facilities. The beach is not large but is beautiful. There is a bar/restaurant at the south end of the beach which offers takeout. There is shaded areas at the south end. I did find it a bit windy... More

Little beach break, Nice waves on the outside for surfers, paddleboarders. Waikaloa canoe club puts in from here. Lots of fish and turtles. Definitely paradise!

This charming, beautifully maintained beach area is a bit off the beaten track, but ask anybody where A Bay is and they can direct you. Sunset here is phenomenal. Tsunamis have taken out many of the tall palms, but it's still beautiful.
