A-bay has lots to offer. You can snorkel, swim, walk the beach for hours, enjoy a drink at Lava Lava, and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

We have been to Anaehoomalu Bay (A Bay) many times to rest on the beach and to snorkel. The snorkeling has typically been good. However this trip, it was a real disappointment. The coral is mostly dead probably due to global warming (coral bleaching) and...More

This beach was definitely our favorite beach to take our 5 year old daughter. The calm waves lapped the beach just enough and our little one spent a long time swimming and playing in the water and on the beach. The water was warm and...More

The sunset in this area is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on this beach at sunset is wonderful. This is Alison a great place to swim and sun. Definitely not the best sand, or the best swimming because the sand is not as fine and soft here...More

This is a really beautiful beach in Waikoloa to relax on the sand, snorkel and to watch the sunset. Parking is free and close to the entrance. There are restrooms. The rocky area is fun to climb around and look for sea turtles - bring...More

Long beach to sit and relax on or go in for a swim. It's a beautiful place at sunset. Got great pictures there.

Nice and accessible beach - not too crowded. There are change rooms/washrooms at entry. When you enter, you can see a number of the many wild cats relaxing amongst the trees that are cared for by volunteers. The beach is nice and clean and there...More

This lovely beach is large enough to feel like you could hang out there all day, yet also small enough and off the beaten path so that it doesn’t feel too overcrowded. There are plenty of trees to one side for shade, and beautiful palm...More

This is a really nice beach to hang out and swim. Warm water and several tables under palm trees Only fair snorkeling. Reefs are small and dirt covered. Few fish. Water was also cloudy the day we were there

This beach is near the Marriott and just down from the Lava Lava restaurant. It is easy to walk to. Bring a chair and some food/water and have the beach to yourself for the day.

I do not believe you can on the beach, I don't recall seeing anyone doing so. There is a grocery in the mall coming to the beach. Great fresh foods that will satisfy for sure.
