While waiting for our condo to be made up, we wandered down the road to this little piece of Paradise! We were just spreading one of my sarongs down under a palm tree when a couple said they were leavng and gave us their lounge...More

My wife and I took about a 2 mile walk from the Hilton Vacation Club along A Bay. It's nice, peaceful scenic walk. Wear watersheds to protect your feet.

This was a great beach, small but convenient and clean. Now it seems to be overrun by cats. Knowing what cats do in the sand does not make me think it's clean and I don't want to be laying there or let the kids play...More

Nice bay - no rough surf while we were there. Really beautiful and not too far from Kona. Had a fun time. There is a glass bottom boat here but it only operates until noon.

The head of the bay is a great beach for families. Nice calm waters, vendors, and the fishpond. Because the bay is so sheltered the water is probably the warmest on the Islands. I want to mention the snorkeling. Many people say its awful but...More

We enjoyed this beach for a scenic sunset viewing. There seem to be a lot of families here but the beach was definitely not overcrowded. We enjoyed seeing the cats as we walked in!

We stayed in walking distance to A-Bay, but were initially disappointed in that this ended up being one of our least favorite beaches for swimming. However, it's an excellent beach for sunset, with the seaside palm trees, the fishponds, and, well, the cats. It's worth...More

This beautiful beach is a great place to catch sunset. We heard that snorkeling isn't great here, but it is a lovely spot to visit.

It's nice to have such a nice beach so close to the Waikoloa resorts. The beach is very diverse with both open areas for sunning and shade for those who don't want to bake. There are also activity options like snorkeling, paddle boards and a...More

I do not believe you can on the beach, I don't recall seeing anyone doing so. There is a grocery in the mall coming to the beach. Great fresh foods that will satisfy for sure.

We saw them in the mid afternoon over to the right hand side of the Bay. I was snorkeling there when to my surprise I saw a turtle swimming along about one foot beneath me. I could have touched it. This continued for several... More
