The water at Anaehoomalu Bay isn’t crystal clear, but it is calm and very good for swimming. There are places nearby for food and beach rentals and plenty of free chairs to sit on. Great choice if you want to enjoy an almost wave-free beach.

Good place to hang out and play in the waves. Water was too murky to snorkel. Beach is clean. There are clean facilities with an outside shower. Good parking area. If you are missing your kitties back home, there is a colony of "feral" kitties living in the grove of trees off to the right as you walk up to... More

It was closest to our condo so we hopped over easily. Parking was convenient. Showers and bathrooms available. Nice stretch of beach for all ages. Good snorkeling on the ends, however it was too windy while we visited. It was never that busy when we visited but if you head to the south there are quieter pieces of beach. Mind... More

Coarse sand, rocks. Shallow reef and poor visibility. Not good for either swimming or snorkeling. Sun yourselves and enjoy the view.

Nice beach with plenty of activities to rent to keep family busy for the day. Stand up paddle boards, snorkel gear, hydro bikes, kyacks and other beach gear for rent. Glass bottom boat tours as well. Snorkling was average. Water murky and not a lot of fish or coral. Best way to view fish Isis the steam by the rental... More

This beach has so much to do. There is a hut called ocean sports located right on the beach and they rent kayaks, paddle boards, hydro bikes, snorkel gear and more! They even have a glass bottom boat that takes you out into the waters and you can see all kind of sea life through the glass bottom of the... More

Nice beach and close to our hotel. Take the street after the Queen's marketplace. Plenty of parking, showers and restrooms here. Nice and calm waters, good for kids, SUP, kayaks, canoes. Some shade near trees. Went a few times on this trip. Very accessible, easy and beautiful.

Adjacent to Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant is why we went. Water somewhat murky, not a great clean stretch of beach area, lots of boats in swimming area. Just not anywhere near as nice as the other awesome beaches on this island. One cool thing is they have a cat sanctuary type area where many cats kind of like at... More

Easy access beach and generally calm waters. Good for kids. Reasonable snorkeling. Turtles. Shade and limited beach chairs.

I found this beach to be beautiful, serene and quite delightful. It can be quite windy though. Great beach for families with kids as the waves are not very big and there is tons of recreational toys to rent to play in the water (and the renting of is fairly affordable).
