9 holes with son

We played 9 holes as part of the family special after 330. The good thing is that no one was there. Played ok which was positive. Less so the son! Everything was ok but not... read more

Literally, there are goats running around this course. For $155 green fee, you should expect a nice facility with nice greens and fairways. The outside staff was not friendly at all. The starter was rude to us. The tee boxes were all torn up. The bunkers were hard packed dirt. The fairways were dry and brown. The greens were in... More

First of all, we live in Boca Raton FL where there is golf on what seems like every corner! Not just average golf courses either...some of the best in the world are here. My husband played both courses when we stayed at the Kings Land Vacation Resort but when he returned home from this one he raved! Could have been... More

Played both courses and i will not argue with any design features. Courses are what you see what you get in terms of visuals. Staff was friendly and accommodating. As a low handicap player i was very disappointed with the conditions of the sand traps. For 100+ plus dollars several of the bunkers were so poorly maintained that they were... More

Aloha Colin H, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. We appreciate comments and concerns about the conditions of our course. The bunkers on the Kings’ Course are tough to manage daily. Normal trade winds tend to blow the sand out of the bunkers frequently exposing bare spots and accumulate additional sand in other areas... We have played this course many times and it had conditioning issues in the past. This time the King's Course was in great shape with smooth greens, great tee boxes, and green fairways. The weather was magnificent with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures but almost no wind. The starter did a great job and she had a good sense... More

Was really looking forward to playing golf at this course due to the high ratings. I was very disappointed. First they charged me $55.00 for premium rentals. The driver was dented, the 5 wood was cracked and the irons looked like they came from a garage sale. The course was in fair condition, the tee boxes need work. The staff... More

Aloha Erik, We had originally responded to your review back on November 23rd. Unfortunately, I posted it as a question to you instead of a response. I have copied it and pasted it below. The offer to you still stands. "Aloha Erik, We are sorry to hear of your disappointing experience and we would love the opportunity to make it... More

Played this morning and the wind was way up so the course played harder than it should. The staff was great and the starter made sure everyone got off on time. Unfortunately the pace of play was agonizingly slow and on the back nine they were mowing and doing maintenance as we were trying to play on several holes. The... More

We had a late flight so we took advantage of their Family Golf. $50 for adults, and $20 for the junior golfer. Very affordable. But you get what you pay for. The course was not very pretty and had a lot of bugs. There's construction going on so it was not very conducive for golf. I was quite disappointing. The... More

As a high handicap player I found the Kings' Course challenging, but fun. The Kings' Course does not have a spectacular Ocean view like the Beach Course, but it has plenty of water, acres of black lava, and well-kept fairways and greens. We loved it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our initial round so muchso, we decided to return several days later. They offered a very favorable rate of $69 including cart, range balls and 4 waters in ice chest to Hilton Kings' Land guests. No restriction on tee times with this rate---a great deal! Course was typical resort layout--wide fairways, 4 tees, in good condition. A reasonable challenge... More
