We actually stayed at the Hilton Bay Club which is a timeshare unit that's part of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. We were very pleased with the unit even though you could hear the footsteps of the people above us, otherwise, the rest of the unit...More

I have stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Resort a few times for vacations. The resort is large, but easy to get around with the boats and trains which transport guests all around. With all the restaurant and shops, you do not need to leave the...More

Wonderful for kids (of most ages), and Dolphin Quest is not to be missed (unless you've failed to make reservations). The pools and slides are really fun, but ocean swimming is in the seemingly man-made lagoon only, which is still quite nice. Not the most...More

Awesome resort, biggest pool I have ever seen and end of August was not at all crowded as Im guessing most families had the kids back in school. The natural lagoon was great for snorkeling, lots of fish and 1 morning i counted 6 different...More

We stayed at a private condo, Halii Kai. Nice complex, on the ocean, but w/o access to the beach, unless you drive to "A" Bay. We didn't care too much for A bay, so we traveled to various beaches in our area of the island....More

It's a lovely place to be around. I like Hawaii island because it's not crowded like in Oahu or Maui, which I hear is getting more people recently. Hilton hotels have their shuttles running, and if you stay in one hilton hotel I think you...More

The resort is wonderful for families and folks that like a tourist's view of Hawaii. We stayed there 4 days and found the grounds spectacular, the pools amazing and the overall atmosphere relaxing. It is, however, a five star hotel and you will pay more...More

This Hilton has been around since the 1980's and it shows. The rooms are sub -par. They need a major remodeling, yet the price is what you expect from a Hilton. The resort has Dolpin Quest, and that makes it special alone. Prices are high,...More

Because the resort is located at the foot of a 14,000 peak, there are usually afternoon/evening winds coming off the mountain.

I have no idea. Best to call Casa Pericos. It might depend on how well the 2 couples are acquainted, and how much privacy each couple requires.
