Anahola Beach is along the northeast shore road of Kauai, north of Kap'a and Kealia Beach. It's a long and gorgeous beach, in a cove, with moderate waves and surf. Restrooms are provided, and there are a number of covered tables for grilling and eating. At the far end vehicles can drive onto the beach and enjoy the day! People... More

This was a fun beach to visit. You can drive right to the sand. Beautiful views & a good spot to spend the day relaxing in the sun on the sand! No real markers on the highway. Take Anahola Road thru the houses, keep going & you will end up at the beach.

Off the main road, no sign of the ocean, where is the beach? It is worth the search. Uncrowned. Lifeguard protected. Beautiful! Just don't tell anyone...

This beach is a hidden gem. It's rarely crowded and has a gentle beach for swimming. The surf breaks just a few hundred yards so you can see it with little effect. It's in a cove that's protected and great shade, restrooms, and lifeguards. It was our favorite spot to swim and chill!

This beach was a terrific visit for our family. The tranquil, turquoise waters look exactly like the picture of Hawaii. There was ample room for swimming and playing in the sand. It is not great for snorkeling because the rocky areas are very shallow.

Great for beginners or families with small children. The trail is wide and has no risky areas. Conveniently located close to Kapaa.

As you can see from the pictures, even on a party cloudy windy day, this beach is very picturesque and beautiful. There is a lifeguard and facilities. The road getting to the very convenient parking is riddled with massive potholes...like its never had anything done to maintain it...ever! It's away from the crowds and worth a visit.

Beautiful beach, easy to find-lots of parking. Not very swim able the day we were there due to high swells. Beach was very cluttered with debris and was in need of a good cleaning. But any day on a Kauai beach is usually a good one

Grab a friend, bring water and sunscreen, and explore the trails and beaches on the Kohala Coast. Stop for a picnic at Kapa'a Beach Park for great whale-watching 🐋
