Hanalei Beach is OPEN. It is uncrowded now with facilities. A long crescent beach to walk and nice water. Small waves, but you can paddleboard beyond.

Recent flooding have not created damage and many are using the beach. The restrooms at Pavilions are open. Surfers were out today. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful beach but it has been badly effected by island flooding. The view of the Nepali coast is still amazing.

We went here an hour before sunset and walked the beach and sat on the pier to watch the sun come down. There were still signs of the recent flood damage but the place was still beautiful and romantic.

Great beach for families! The waves were gentle enough with our two toddlers and the pier was beautiful. Such great scenery!

Lots to offer. From snorkeling, surfing, pier jumping, swimming , or fishing. Great spot to dip your feet into the sand.

This crescent shaped beach is quiet and uncrowded, due to its location close to the end of the road. Its turquoise waters are spectacular.

Wide and long crescent shaped beach. Great for walking and for swimming. There is a sand shelf that extends 100 yards out, allowing “wading” up to your chest until it drops off. That creates decent waves a hundred yards out, with a sandy bottom for...More

We had a great time playing in the sand, even in the rain! Seemed popular for the surfers at the time. The only thing I would recommend is better signs to the beach!

I would recommend the St. Regis or the best, Happy Talk Lounge at the Hanna Bay Resort.
