On our second stay in Princeville, I decided to learn to surf. Never been on a surf board before so lessons seem like a good idea. Booked a lesson on a Monday and after check in, Nick took our group of 5 through some basics...More

My wife and I didn't have much expectation, but our instructor Josh managed to teach us how to do stand-up paddle boarding in less than an hour. Very pleased with his courtesy and service.

I am very glad that Titus Kinimaka and his school was recommended to me, because they provided a terrific experience. Much less expensive than the school in Kona, Hawaii, , the Kinimaka school was worth the cost of admission. They start you dry land behind...More

After taking a lesson on the south shore, our kids really wanted another. Since we had moved hotels, we scheduled a lesson with this group. Two other kids were in their group. They had to go through the land lesson again, which is understandable, but...More

Excellent time with our instructor, Keaton, for our family of 4. Everyone was able to surf within minutes of hitting the waves. Hanelai Bay was a great place to learn. The 90 minute lessons was a perfect amount of time. Easy phone reservations, office staff...More

We probably had less than five minutes instruction on the beach, and before we knew it, we were in the water. Hanalei Bay was a perfect place to learn how to surf. We had a few sets near the pier with not much of a...More

H I. The north shore in Hanalei Bay is the best. Go early in the day for less crowds and gentler waves.
