This is a must see, must do for any serious gardener who gets near! It is a superb self-guided, walking tour of gardens through Hawaii history. It is also fantastic for anyone trying to bring native plants to their garden spaces. We loved the walk,...More

Practically at the end of the road, this garden on the north shore is worth a visit. We spent a leisurely morning exploring the garden at our own pace using the very detailed guide. Highly recommend.

Get away from the Ke'e beach parking fiasco and into this calming oasis. Great people and gorgeous garden walk with very informative self-guided brochure.

The day we went to the gardens it was raining. It didn't stop us as we love gardens and there were lots of trees for protection. The gardens have all the specimens well marked. They have a good guide book and well marked trail. There...More

We stopped by the garden on our way to Ke'e beach. I was intrigued by the draw of very unique flowers specific to the garden. The setting is beautiful and the staff is lovely and very accommodating when we arrived at 4pm. You walk the...More

Beautiful place with great views. Glad it's here for people who can't get out and enjoy a Napali Hike. Friendly staff. Children are free which is good because they won't love it. Took us about 50 minutes to your, but it would take plant lovers...More

These gardens are beautiful, of course, but they were also much more interesting than I expected. The walk starts out at their terraced gardens planted with taro, and then climbs up to the plantation gardens, followed by native and non-native plants. Their booklet describes the...More

We had some extra time and decided to visit. The garden is lovely and filled with interesting information about the native and invasive plant species. The woman working in the gift shop was super friendly and introduced me to her pet chickens!

I've walked this garden each of the 7 times we've visited Kauai. This garden is at the end of the road and boasts amazing trails through taro gardens, water falls, all under the famous Bali Hi mountain. I called my husband to come fetch me...More

The garden is pretty but their are plenty of pretty places on Kauai. What sets this aside is the wide variety of plants and the information given about each of them. There are signs along the trail next to many plants describing them. The walk...More

You might want to go to their sister garden in the southern part of the island. It's the NTBS Allerton Garden. It's a lovely stroll as the gardens were planted by the Allerton's as outdoor rooms. Perfect for the entire... More
