This adventure makes you feel like you have accomplished and seen a lot. A great half day activity for young and old alike. Enjoy propelling your kayak up a reasonably peaceful stream and then hike a trail along the river to a magnificent waterfall.

Our family really enjoyed this excursion with Brian as our guide. He made sure we were safe, he had us laughing as we learned a lot about the surrounding flora and fauna. He’s a gifted story teller as well.

Our family of four took the tour with James, and we learned a tremendous amount about the history of the Wailua River. James is a gracious, gentle man who taught us about the plants along the river and along the path to the waterfalls. He...More

James was an amazing guide. Patient and knows a lot about the surrounding area, plant life and random island facts. I believe he only does the tour once or twice a week, but I would recommend asking which days hes available. I cant wait to...More

I'm thinking you could probably rent kayaks and do the river on your own. There is also the Wailua river where you can go kayaking, and if you can be there when the sea is calmer than on our last trip, there is always Napali... More
