I know when you booked your Hawaii vacation, all you really thought about was the beaches. And, if you're going to Kauai, then you probably thought about doing some hiking as well. Do yourself a favor and don't skip out on a FREE stop at the Kauai Coffee Company. For starters, you get to sample their coffee for FREE. Oh,... More

We did not take the tour, but enjoyed the free samples of coffee and bought some to take home. They also have some light food if you need a snack.

I don't drink coffee, but we were on a daylong tour that stopped here. Our bus driver recommended a blended drink called the Decadence. My partner got one and said it was delicious. A day before we had visited the Kona Coffee Company and both times I wished I liked coffee!

Cute spot in the middle of coffee growing area. Many flavors to sample. Nice gift shop for coffee lovers. Movie showing how beans are processed is difficult to watch because of noisy area. Tours are offered of the fields, which we didn't do.

We visited on the last day of our trip when we had some time to kill, and the visit itself made me glad we didn't schedule it in and potentially lose out time for doing or seeing other things. Itself, it's kinda interesting, but if you're a coffee snob, the coffee - to me - leaves a lot to be... More

We unfortunately didn't have time to do the tour but we did some sampling of their lovely coffees and watched a bit of the coffee making video. It was a lovely and friendly environment however the reason I gave it 4/5 was that I felt the cafe let it down - was very processed and not the best my advice... More

...the coffee wasn't very good (at least the varieties I tried). Mild varieties tasted weak, and stronger varieties tasted bitter. Think I prefer Kona coffees.

You can come here and try so many different flavors of coffee for free. They also have a free tour that leaves every two hours but you can do a self guided 20 minute walking tour to see the coffee trees and some of the equipment used to pick the berries. They also have a gift shop where you can... More

I am not a coffee drinker and I still enjoyed myself. My husband is a big coffee fan and likes the Kauai coffee. They have a room where you can sample different types of coffee but there are options for the non-coffee drinker. I purchased a scoop of the guava sherbet which was delicious. I highly recommend the guided tour... More

Loved seeing the video explaining coffee. There were many varieties of coffee to sample. The only negative is the cost of the coffee was high. They finally came out with 'pods', but those were $10 for 12. A small bag of ground coffee was $18.
