This is a don't miss power place on Kauai, the views, the vibe, the spectacular setting will have you immersed in a world that is astoundingly accessible to us. There is a ceremony at 10:30AM and it's open every morning every day 9 to 12 noon. Check it out. And give your self more time than you think you need,... More

A must see hidden gem of Kauai! Check for hours and times of tours before going up there. Car pool whenever possible beacuse it can be very busy with limited parking. Amazing place even if your not religious, amazing gift shop too!

Our family - two adults and two kids (8 and 10) made the trip last week. We went around 10.30am and spent about an hour and a half here. This was a very serene place with a Banyan tree (Meditation Banyan), a beautiful (small) temple tank, a nicetemple (Kadavul) with a Spatika Lingam, Nandi bull & Dwaja stambham. Irrespective of... Definitely take the public tour, which is offered about once a week, starts at 9 am and lasts about 2 hours. But you have to plan ahead - parking is very limited so you need a reservation, and the tour is only offered about once a week. Call a month or two in advance to make sure you can get... More

Took this free guided tour thru the lovely manicured estate. There was a representative of their commune guiding us. First we gathered together seated on chairs while the Hindu religion was explained to us. There was a subtle push to buy books from the gift shop. I loved the tour but my husband and teenage granddaughter got antsy after an... More

We greatly enjoyed our morning visit to this spectacular location. We arrived about 10:45, which was perfect for us. We are not Hindu, but have a great appreciation for the ceremony, music, tranquility found here. For worshipers, you should arrive by 9:30. Truly awe inspiring.

We had a guided tour by a Hindu devotee. He was passionate and knowledgable. He gave an interesting and informative tour. Temple structure itself is beautiful and amazing. Incredible story of how it is still all being built by hand some 40 years later.

If you are on Kauai and are looking for a spiritual boost visit this magical spot. It is truly exceptional to see such a place outside of India. It closes at 12 noon so a morning visit is required. Wednesday morning at 9 is a free tour of the grounds which includes a visit to the largest stone Hindu temple... More
