Housed in the old Kilauea Sugar Plantation company store, Kong Lung Trading offers an original and ever-changing selection of gifts, home decor, personal accessories, and apparel presented in an uplifting, fine-design atmosphere. The boutique is upscale without pretension, a welcoming institution in downtown Kilauea known for its friendly staff, including three dogs, a bird, and gorgeous displays. There is something here for every person of any age-at prices to meet any price range.

Stumbled upon this adorable, historic shopping area when looking for an ATM. I needed cash to visit the Lighthouse! Loved the Island Soap company shop and the galleries. Very well done with the historical aspects.

The building should have been made a museum instead of a store that makes absolutely no sense with its merchandise. Other reviewers were correct that the lady behind the counter is rude and doesn't care about the customers who come through the door unless they...More
