Newly renovated Ocean Course winds its way through mango and guava groves to dramatic seaside cliffs and exceptional ocean views. The longest oceanfront golf in all of Hawaii! MSN Travel called the Ocean Course one of the world's twelve most beautiful courses. It's little wonder that the list of accolades for this Jack Nicklaus Signature track is as long as its string of holes that hug the Pacific. The Ocean Course offers the longest and most continuous stretch of oceanfront golf in all of Hawaii. It is a certain highlight of every visit. Recently renovated all 18 holes are in fabulous shape. Future enhancements include a welcoming new clubhouse on the inland waterway overlooking the 9th hole, along with a world-class practice facility. Both promise to take your game, and your vacation, to the next level.

We played one round at Hokuala and enjoyed it so much that we played the back nine a second time the same afternoon. The majority of holes on the back nine have incredible views of the ocean. The course is challenging but fair, and nothing...More

Easy and wide course. Great friendly staff. Wind off of the ocean is a major factor in club selection. Elevated tee boxes make it fun to try and reach the free on the short par 4s.

This is what I think of when I picture a tropical course--many fairways lining the ocean, amazing views, nice downhill par 3's with cliff drop-offs....between the sudden take-off of a plane just over the trees, the swaying palms, the crashing waves, the beach, the bobbing...More

My family and I were in Kauai from Dec. 18-25 and stayed at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. My husband and 2 sons aged 16 and 12 played here a couple of times. They said it was fantastic!

I've played the Kauai Lagoons course many times back in the mid to late 2000s and it was an awesome course. Really enjoyed it. We found out that earlier in 2015 Kauai Lagoons changed ownership and name and it is now called The Ocean Course...More

I played at this course today. I was uninformed that the front nine had been closed until today because they lost their greens. It opened today, and they are still severely damaged. Don't waste your money. I was not informed of this when making reservations...More

Once top rated as the Jack Nicklaus designed Kiele course there is not much left of its former glory. Ownership has changed and it has been renamed as Hokuala Ocean Course. Only 9 holes are open for play, the former back 9 of the Kiele...More

Poipu is the best course on Kauai, both as to condition and layout, but it is expensive. Makai is a close second on all counts. Puakea is the best value on the island, by far, as it has a great layout, views, etc. apart... More
