This beach offers not only beautiful sand and clear water but also many activities to do, such as paddle boarding for example. Very nice place with some nice surroundings, shops and restaurants so you can easily spend whole day here.

The beach and park are a fun place to watch the surfers and paddle boarders. From the parking lot you are right out where the surf is breaking - waves are nicely formed and offer a long ride.

A beautiful beach! There are restaurants and some shopping right next to the beach. You can eat at one of the restaurants and look out on the beach.

This is a nice beach to stop at. Very calm water and nice sand. There are several restaurants along the beach and shops near by. Near the cruise ship harbor so go on a day when the cruise ship isn't there.

A nice crescent shaped beach in front of the Marriott. There is public parking but it's really busy and be difficult to get. Enjoyed our time there. Saw a small turtle swimming in the water with us.

Pretty calm water for kids, though not as calm as Lydgate or one of the parks with a protected pond. Nice that there are lots of places to get food and rent gear right there. A great place for SUP boarding. Possible to surf here...More

We love Kalapaki beach! It's a protected beach because it's in Kalapaki Bay. The sand is a gentle slope and the surf is not too difficult, even in the summer. It is enough surf for some fun boogie boarding, paddle boarding and a little surfing....More

Most of the beach is right at the Marriott Resort, so it's well maintained, and there are places right there to grab a coffee or a drink. Great sand, nice cool river feeding the one end. Just so nice, really. In summer, ideal for swimming.......More

This beach has something to offer everyone. You can sit on the sand or under the trees on the grass in the shade. There is beach volleyball and a place to learn paddle boarding or surfing. The waves are gentle, but other parts have stronger...More

We didn't have to rent chairs or umbrellas since we were staying at the Marriott, however, I just googled Kauai Beach Boys and here's what it says: Classic Hawaii beach boy style, Kauai Beach Boys is Kalapaki's fun... More
