Guides Chelsea and Sean made this a fun as well as informative day. After kayaking down the river, hearing about ancient Hawaiian legends, we hiked through the bush, then hopped in a vehicle to drive through a beautifully preserved property, used in iconic Jurassic Park scenes. Yummy lunch, then two massive ziplines (it was possible to elect not to do... More

Our adventure began with a leisurely kayak trip down the river. The river was calm and quite safe for all ages. Once we reached our endpoint, we began a hike on a very muddy and slick trail. We had water shoes on that had no traction so if I ever do this again I will wear different shoes. Next came... More

We had a great time doing the kayak and hike to the Opaekaa Falls. The falls were absolutely beautiful and the kids had a great time swimming and standing under them. It was an easy kayak trip up the river (near Fern Grotto) (about 2miles) followed by about a 2 mile hike into the falls. Beware of mud!! We opted... More

We really enjoyed our ziplining trek. The first three zips are set around a beautiful waterfall in a jungle valley in Kipu Ranch. The suspension bridges add some excitement, and the three longer zips at the end are above the tree canopy over a beautiful gorge. There are other companies that offer longer zips, but I doubt the scenery is... More

We had an exceptional afternoon on the Kahuna zipline tour. Our primary guide Treston made the day 5 star with his local knowledge, humor and enthusiasm throughout the tour which felt safe from beginning to end. There is a fun swimming hole at the end where you can zip and drop in, or jump off a platform into the water!

Awesome whale watching sea kayaking trip with Adam. We saw spinner dolphins, turtles, whales and even a manta ray. Adam has the eyes to spot all kinds of wildlife in the water! Highly recommended if you like to do some paddling as you sightsee.

I'm afraid of heights, but the guides at Outfitter had a perfect plan; easy acclimation to shorter runs (about 150 feet), ending with awesome 1,800 ft. Run. Very, very safety conscious! Loved guides Keith and Sally. The scenery is exquisite.

Our guide with Outfitters Kauai was very nice and very knowledgable. I would definitely recommend them. The Wailua Kayak Waterfall tour was good but definitely on the touristy side so if you're used to adventuring on your own, this is probably not a great tour for you. Kayaking on the Wailua River is very pretty and the waterfall is pretty... More

Our guide was Elvis and he was wonderful. Be forewarned, when they say the hike is muddy they really mean muddy! I thought the hiking part was fun, but some people in our group really did not like how muddy it was. The kayak was fun and the waterfall is beautiful. It's a popular thing to do so there are...
