This is such a wonderful spot! If you are on the south side you must go see it! Even if you just want to look out at the ocean it is a beautiful spot. It is close to town and free to see! The shopping is the best with booths where mostly everything is made in Hawaii!! We went twice... More

Was a bit disappointing probably because the waves were not forceful enough to produce powerful spouts although the action is unique.

This is one of those tourist 'must see's' that is on every tour bus route. We were in a resort nearby so we came over to view. Easy access from the road, you walk up to a chain link fence and wait for the water and rocks to their magic. The 'magic' can really depend on how the surf is... More

A comfortable park set next to the honey combed lava formation which produces the spouts. Certainly worth a visit, especially on a day with good waves which cause bigger spouts.

Fortunately, we stopped by Spouting Horn because we were passing by on the drive from Waimea Canyon to the Lihue airport. For the horn to be spouting, the surf has to be proper. Tide must have been mighty low on the day of our visit, as there was no spout, barely a trickle. I am sure it is breathtaking when... More

We came at a lower tide and it was not quite what I expected. Still pretty to see, recommend researching the tide schedule before visiting.

Every visit to Kauai has included a visit to Spouting Horn. You pass a great snorkeling beach and the Beach House restaurant on your way there. Across the road is the visitor center to Allerton Gardens, also worth a visit. Well worth a visit.

Stop in and enjoy the shooting water. It is a very short stroll from the parking lot. There are restrooms available, picnic tables and some local vendors selling souvenirs. Nice view.

You will not be disappointed to watch this natural wonder. There is an area to wait and watch with delight for the spout! Enjoy the nature, the roosters and chickens, its a must see.
