Not Crowded, Well Done, Great Food

Upscale very nicely done dinner show/luau. The hotel and setting has beautiful design and wonderful views of Hanalei Bay. The quality of the show, dinner and presentation is a level above most others I have attended. More costly than most but there is value to it.

Quite possibly one of the easiest and most enjoyable Luau’s we have experienced. We go to a lot of Luau’s, and sometimes they are crowded, take a LONG time, and the buffet is very standard. The St Regis is quick, all seats in the house are good. It is a small venue, and the food is top shelf. We are... More

This was our first dining experience on Kauai and it was perfect. Hubby and I were seated at a nice four top table along the railing with a spectacular view. We were the second of the two groups to go to the buffet, but we really didn't have to wait long and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. The... More

We came to Hawaii 13 year ago without the kids and went to the Hyatt Luau in Maui. I thought it was fantastic, but my wife said this one was better. Good food, unbeatable view, convenient if staying at the St. Regis, and a great show. It was pricey at $135 pp, but all in all, it was worth it.

The Mailani dinner show was not a good experience, and no where close to the usual St Regis Experience. We booked two premium seats for the show on May 1st. We arrived at 6pm, and was given a cocktail while we waited about five minutes to be seated. We were seated on the side area with our back to the... More

I thought the show was very nice. I enjoyed the local food and performances. The beef was particularly tasty.

great show, typical buffet food, but not bad, the cast was wonderful, the servers good, the setting perfect, I would recommend it to all as long as you like eating at 5:30

This was a good show with better than average food. Price was not cheap, 135 per adult. Children are half price.

This show was recommended by our hotel concierge and was well worth it! The St. Regis is a glorious resort, and their Makana Terrace is the perfect venue for such a show. The buffet is replete with many island choices from raw bar through desserts. The show has authentic Polynesian culture, dancing, and performances. They use multiple "stage" areas although... More
