Pack a lunch, rent a Jeep, and just plan on spending the day. At the end of the road, a rough one that’s not kind to cars I’m sure. Views are amazing, restrooms close by, and beach goes on forever. LOVE this Beach.

So it is a long, rough drive to beach; not clearly marked. We went to Queen’s Pond (left of the monkeypod tree), parked in the lot area, off to the side. We walked a short way to the beach. Wow! Mesmerizing views of the huge...More
saw the sign for Polihale State Park, turned onto the road and went hmmm. Looks a little sketchy, but we had a Jeep, so went for it. Road in is certainly as the sign states, unmaintained and would be a little questionable during a rain....More
Literally the end of the island down a long, bumpy dirt road. So beautiful but the sand is thick and the water was rough. Suggest parking at the top and walking down to the water, although there were many jeeps down by the water, there...More

It's a long drive back to this beach and four-wheel drive would be helpul. If you're looking for a swimming location, this probably isn't the place as the ocean here is treacherous, but the long, quiet beach is beautiful.
This beach is absolutely gorgeous, and there were the right amount of people enjoying it... we were not eerily alone, but we had plenty of space to ourselves (it's huge). You can see the NaPali coast on your right, and a beautiful sunset to your...More
One reviewer said there were no facilities--- they just didn't go far enough on the road to the right hand side. There are picnic tables and some rest rooms if you dare. This beach is remote enough that some locals forget their swim suits. If...More
This place truly makes you feel you are at the end of the world. The sunset is even more amazing here as it makes you feel you are on another planet. The road is honestly not so bad. We drove there a couple of times...More
