This was a great stop for very unique handmade gifts. I got a handwoven Hawaiian grass basket for my 2 year old daughter's barbie :)

Local artists show off their talent. From original paintings to ceramics, woven art to photographs, from jewelry to origami paper boxes ... you will find it at the Lana'i Art Center. There is a big effort to raise money for the Kids Art Center (Arts are not taught in school) and that alone is worth it to stop by and... More

Very small but lovely- nice people - bought some Mike Carroll's here and had them framed. This is stupid that I have to write 100 minimum words.

This is a great place to take classes in something that you might always have wanted to try. Check ahead to see what they are offering. It gives you an opportunity to also buy some work by local artists.

The Lana'i Art Center was founded in 1991 and has the only multi-purpose community arts program on the island of Lanai. The art center is dedicated to... More

All profits go to art programs and to the schools. All art is made by local artists. Amazing art inside.

Wasn't open posted hours, felt like it was trying to be too many things; craft shop, art gallery, thrift store. Art work hung too low and too high, people were arguing about where and how hang paintings, from what we had no choice but to overhear, it felt like too many chiefs and not enough indians, felt uncomfortable and left...
