An easy self guided walking tour of approximately 10 acres with a helpful hand drawn map. Free parking area with a $3 per person entrance fee. Mostly tropical flowers and fruits and most of the plants the Hawaiians brought in their canoes to help them survive. A good place to get out of the car and stretch. No botanical names but if the owner is present, she is always ready to talk plants.

A lovely visit

Visited here with the family - a beautiful place with lovely trees and wonderful flowers, but do take your bug repellant. I wish I had.

Beautiful despite the rain. Ask for AAA discount and get $5 off. They charge per person, not per car. So be prepared.

If you are already in Hana, this is a pleasant Garden to spend an hour or so in. Mostly native plants and not so much flowers. There is a very big Heiau that took128,000 days to build. As it is a temple, you are limited to view it from below. A very peaceful place.

Paths were not marked and overgrown. Really couldn't find any path in and the thought of not getting out in a timely fashion did not appeal to us at all.

this was a nice place to get out of your car and walk around for a while. There is a lot of beautiful flora, and a beautiful waterfall to see, cannot swim in! There are food trucks available for lunch or a snack. you can spend just an hour there, or make it into a half day adventure, but then... More

This place is run-down and unkempt. Do not waste your time here. We stayed here for 2 nights and I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is a rare, humble, and inexpensive gem that boasts a large, beautiful garden and two clean nightly rentals! It's on the road to Kahanu National Gardens and worth the stop because it's lush and lovely - this is a different type of botanical preserve than the manicured monument a little further away. The place is a private rather than... More

Beautiful, serene, Hawaii at it's finest. A walk through this garden defines the term "taking in nature." I can go back to that feeling of absorption as I try to describe it for you, but, I really can't begin to get you close. If you are on the Road to Hana, don't miss this stop.

I really did not expect it to be so beautiful. It is jungle-style large botanical garden full of rare plants; very diverse collection. You can easily get lost in that garden (I did). I think to stay on that property (the owner has several rental units there) would be an astonishing experience. If I ever get to Hana again, that... More
