Ono Organic Farms is a family owned and operated tropical fruit farm in Hana, Hawaii. Our family has been farming organically for over 30 years. We specialize in apple bananas, papaya, avocado, and a variety of exotic fruits including durian! Our Estate Coffee has been called "the Rolls-Royce of Hawaiian coffee, because the ride is so smooth!" Chuck grew up surfing and growing things along Maui's southern shore. He and his wife Lilly own and manage the farm with the help of numerous sons, daughters, grandkids, and apprentices. The richness and beauty of the land keep everyone happy and healthy. We sell our products at a roadside market stand in Hana, just past the gas station. Meet us there, 9 to 5, 7 days a week! We also offer Exotic Fruit Tasting Adventures at the farm, Monday through Friday at 1:30 pm by reservation. Come enjoy our Estate Coffee and an exquisite variety of fresh fruit -- fun for the whole family!

I bought a $40 bag of coffee. And didn't regret it. Fruits are beautiful, perfect, exotic and delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and personable. All good.

We visited Ono farms and took the tour. The farm is directly past Haleakala national park and Oheo gulch coming from the north. Be prepared to drive up a steep hill to get there. Our tour guide was a young girl who had just started working with Ono Farms for a few months. She was very knowledgeable about the farm... More

Loved this place! We went twice over 2 days (and hit up several other fruit stands in the area, including some of the bigger, fancier looking places) and this was hands down the best value with the tastiest fruit. $6 for a pineapple. The vendor picked it out for us, cut it up, and it was literally the best pineapple... More

It's been on at least 2 cooking shows that I know (Samantha Brown & the International Green Grocer). If you love tropical fruit, (safe) jungles, botanical gardens, flowers, breath-taking ocean view, stunning grounds, then ONO FARMS is the Place to visit! It is around $40 to walk through the huge, tropical orchards spread out over dozens of acres of jungle.... More

We were charged $6 for a pineapple that the employee selected for us. It was over ripe it was gross (and we tossed it). The mango was good, but it was $4.

Read about this farm in our local paper. First: make reservation ahead of time. 2. Go hungry. Why? Be prepared to learn and taste/eat/devour over 2 dozen varieties of fruits. Also included are homemade jams/jellies, local honey, delicious banana bread to accompany aforementioned jams/jellies. And fresh cocoa fruit and roasted cocoa seed pods. Did I mention tasting the fruity insides... More

A great way to spend an afternoon. Just be ready to sample ample amounts of exotic and organic fruits. Take a bottle of water and some bug repellent for a most enjoyable experience.

We stopped here and had the freshest, sweetest, most amazing mangoes and pineapples we've ever tasted! The guys working the stand cut and cored the pineapple while we waited and it was so good. Unbelievably priced too! Oh, and while we waited they gave us free coconut!
