This is a bit of a walk straight up the hill but when you get there, the view is breath taking and surrounded by fragrant and beautiful Tiare Gardenias.

A visit to Fagan's Cross is an inspiring place especially knowing the history behind the cross erected to remember the man who resurrected Hana.

There is some amazing history behind why this cross was placed! Make sure to read up on it or listen to one of the guides on the way by it! Fagan was a big part of why Maui is what it is today.

An Inspiring sight. Again, we would have appreciated it more if the tour guide would have kept quitet.

The climb is steep in some areas but it is paved all of the way. This is also a cow pasture so mind where you step. Loved the gardenia hedge. My day was overcast so the view was nice but not spectacular. However since it was overcast the hike was easier.

Fagan's Cross calls to you. It draws you up. If you can walk, it prompts you to come and see! This is a relatively easy hike, paved all the way, can be somewhat strenuous if you keep a fast and steady pace, otherwise you can wear flip flops! Water is a good idea. There is NO signage to tell you... More

Nice little hike just up from Travaasa Hana. It has a sacred feel when you reach the cross with tiki torches and a beautiful gardenia hedge. Beautiful panoramic view of Hana and environs.

A nice walk from Travaasa to Fagan's cross..A steep incline up but well worth the effort to see the view from the base of the cross.

We only drove by the cross. It really stood out to us. It was magnificent with the sun shining on it. What a lovely way for the locals to memorialize Paul Fagan who passed away in 1960 and was the founder of the Hotel Hana Maui.
