You have to see and experience it to believe it! It's a small beach with stunning grandeur! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of my difficulty in hiking there. I have a slight fear of heights, and the trail is steep and unstable in spots, due to erosion and tree debris(pine needles). The trail is... More

Walk along the Travaasa fence at the end of the municipal parking lot where the ball fields are. Sure, there are narrow parts but there are plenty of places to grab sturdy roots or just get yourself down low if you're nervous. Warnings are overstated. It's not at all particularly dangerous if you have the sense to wear shoes or... More

It is a bit of a hike though. The trail is a bit tight, and goes up around a small cliff. As long as you are careful, however, it is a very amazing spot to get to. You can usually find it empty too, since not a lot of people go out of their way to stop and find it.

The red sand beach was worth the small effort required to get there. The trail was short and not difficult. A hidden gem right in the middle of Hana. Very protected water to snorkel or swim. I was there early one morning and did encounter two guys swimming nude. when i arrived they covered up so just be aware.

This beach is amazing! It is so beautiful. Great swimming and sunning. A little hard to find but well worth it.

The beach is small and beautiful. Only downside is that the sand is very gravelly. Wear good boots or slippahs. Otherwise, rocks will get in your sandals and water shoes and cause discomfort on the hike back.

This was my FAVORITE place on the entire Road to Hana. The bright blue of the water from the viewpoint was breathtaking, and the clear, calm water after the rocks breaking the waves was a perfect place to swim. The hike there wasn't as bad as I had feared, but I can see how it can be dangerous. There are... More

There is a small field by the community center and a trail that leads to this beautiful beach. The hike is a little steep but wear good shoes and you will have no problems. Once you get to Hana keep driving towards the harbor. Pass the harbor and eventually you will make it to the community center.

this is not a place to go with children or elderly there have been many injuries and people there's no hospital nearby go if you must, but there are easier and prettier beaches to go to in the area.
