Five weeks in Maui starting Marcu 02, 2021, Beautiful beach, wonderful people. Water was a bit brown due to three weeks of non-stop rain, but still very enjoyable.

This was our first time staying in Kihei and our condo was right across from Kam 3. The beach was never crowded, had very attentive life guards, and fantastic snorkeling. The surf was up a bit when were there and our teens loved to boogie board and jump the waves. This made snorkeling a bit more challenging, but were still able to get out and see turtles, eels and a large variety of fish. We snorkeled to the far left and 100 yards from shore where the boats often moor at the turtle cleaning station. Its a solid 15 minute swim out, but totally worth it. Fantastic healthy corals and at least a dozen turtles. Best viz was in the mornings. The park itself is lovely. Large grassy area, picnic tables, showers, bathrooms. Perfect spot to watch the sunset.

We visited this beach twice! We caught sunset there one night and then decided to start another day at this beach. This beach has great facilities. They have a nice parking lot, grass, restrooms and showers. The day we spent here the wind was calm and the water was clear. We went snorkeling at both ends near the reefs. We saw so many fish! We also saw 3 turtles! This place was almost across the highway from where we stayed. Super close. The beach was clean and surprisingly not overly crowded. I really liked this beach!

Lots of rocks so be careful and stay back if you don't know what you're doing but you can see some amazing fish on the south and north ends of the beach. The south end is safer for less experienced snorkelers though.

One on my favorite beaches in Kihei. Whatever you want to do for the day it is right at your fingertips. Large grassy area as well as ample beach available for your enjoyment.
