We came to the Lavender farm and were bummed that the lavender was not in bloom this time of year, so we didn't stick around for long, but it has lots of great views of Maui from the hillside of Haleakala.

While the lavender is not in bloom during December, the view was incredible. And, the drive to the farm is spectacular.

We chose to do the self guided tour and wander through the gardens ourselves. They gave us a map and a scavenger hunt which made it fun and made sure we covered all of the property. The staff was very friendly and the gardens were...More

This was a nice stop and worth the visit. If you have limited mobility it is lots of walking and a bit hilly. I took it slow so not bad. The cart ride tour I think is expensive, $25 per person seemed like a lot....More

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful views and gardens. Employees are really welcoming and friendly. With a Yelp check in you get a free cup of lavender tea to sip while strolling through the garden areas. Bring comfy shoes, as some of the paths are slightly...More

This was the second time to go on their farm tour plus our third and final visit. Our tour was led by Chase, who has no business interacting with visitors. . He did not know how to pronounce"naval" as in naval oranges or the basics...More

This is a remote little farm with many exotic plants, flowers and especially their lavender. The up country views are spectacular. It's a nice stroll through their gardens after visiting the crater. They also have a nice gift shop filled with all sorts of lavender...More

Worth the drive to the high country to experience this beautiful farm at 4000 ft elevation. Bring a sweater as it can get chilly or rain. Even when the lavender is not in bloom it's a special place. Make a reservation for the 45 min...More

Beautiful grounds with several varieties of lavender. Wish we could have taken a tour but our time was limited and one in our party was unable to walk the grounds. They did have golf carts available, but be sure to book ahead. Products in gift...More

Allow at least an hour but I agree with the other responder--this isn't worth a special trip. Makawao is a cute town to visit and the surfing goat dairy is anothe fun diversion if you head up country.
