This is such a nice beach for adults and children. The said is beautiful and it isn't overcrowed. Just make sure you have your sun screen on. The water temp is amazing. It was 73 when we were there in April 2018

We stayed at The Royal Lahaina Resort on Kaanapali Beach. Beautiful sand, not overly crowded. Rented a cabana one day and loved it!

This beach is beautiful, but crowded and narrow. Depending on which spot you choose you may have good swimming or snorkeling or surfing, and you may see turtles and/or tropical fish. The paved walking path leads to some good restaurants. The area within 1/2 mile...More

Spent an hour snorkeling here on a Monday morning. Parking was easy at public lot near Westin. Easy beach access into water. Lots of fish. Was very windy so visibility wasn’t great but thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless.

This is the place to be in Kaanapali- the beach! So much to do in the way of swimming, snorkeling around Blackrock, hotel dining, and people watching. There are tons of activities you can take part in off this beach, or you can just relax...More

We stayed here for 5 days and our boys enjoyed playing on the beach. We also snorkeled a few times, including black rock. Not sure if it’s just the time of year, but the snorkeling was just okay. There were fish, but not large numbers....More

Nice and manicured. Better food outside. Ok if you just want to stay in one location with lots of high end resorts. Some places have no beach because of erosion.

Spent the morning snorkeling off the north end of this beach, and around Black Rock to the other side. There is a current here, and only strong swimmers should go around the end of the rocks. There had been a strong rain the day before,...More

Definitely road construction so expect delays. The far north end of beach under beach refurbishment as well. Just take your time and expect delays.

Just find a good hotel! There are many! If you can't find one go to the other side of the island!
