The beach was long, sand wonderful, water perfect, snorkeling good, & waves quieting your mind. I watched the sunrise almost every day of my trip. Sunsets also spectacular. Each one different from the last. Some even had rainbows.

Great beach, sand is very light. Doesnt feel thick and sticky. Not a lot of people out on the beach this time of the year which made it even better.

Nice location with moderate surf with good swimming. The sunsets in the evening were always worth making the effort to view

Lots of fish and turtle to snorkel here. Long beach that is a paradise if you love to walk on the sand.

I am not one who actually gets in the ocean but totally enjoy watching the ever changing blues of the water. The bonus at Kanaapali is you get the beautiful islands of Lanaii and Molokai as a framework. For those who do enjoy snorkeling and...More

This is a very long and beautiful beach that is a good place to swim on most days. However, at certain times of the year the surf is too big for swimming.

I have seen online other places that do go out later - into the afternoon. Everyone says' that the morning ones are the best due to the tradewinds in the afternoon.
