This is a mostly well traveled trail but the south end has more rocky shore access. Note the terrain is varied but provides great beach access. Not suitable for wheelchairs as there are stairs and not recommended with pets either. Some portion goes through resorts so not so much like a trail feeling on paved golf cart portions but beautiful. Note the restrooms are not public and few between the ends so plan accordingly and respect the signage.…

Wanted to experience a beach hike and this was definitely that. Bring water!! The hike was a great hike with beautiful views and lots of exploring available. Lots of rock formations to climb out on and explore the amazing turquoise waters below. There are small pools of water to explore. There is a spot to hike down to cliff jump into the water (at your own risk). You cross a few calm beaches and a surfer beach with lots of waves. There are times where it winds through some resorts and a golf course. Definitely some uphill portions. Great hike but bring water and good walking shoes.…

We stayed at a hotel in Kapalua and I couldn’t get enough of this gorgeous path along the water. It’s about 1.6 miles each way. It’s especially beautiful in the early morning and around sunset. Parts of it are more rough than others so be prepared to clean your shoes afterwards. Definitely walk out along the lava rocks to try and spot sea turtles, whales and dolphins. You can walk one way on the path and the other way on a sidewalk along the street if you like. There’s several beautiful beaches along the way. Love it!…

Views to die for! Surfing beach on the boardwalk. Dragon's Teeth landmark lies below the Ritz. Fleming Beach marks the end of the trail. The Snack Shack there on the beach offers lunch starting at 11am. Happy Hour ends at 4, but call to confirm times.

Beautiful trail and you'll get some great photos of the scenery and birds here. But most importantly, if you want to cliff jump, this is your place! Follow the trail north past the Cliff House, and a few mins later you'll see it becomes a rocky sandy trail to the left (at the next condo development)/ Follow that "backward" along the coast, past an old rusted white metal structure, and around to the most awesome inlet where locals and adventurous tourists love to jump! The jump is about 12-15 feet I'm guessing and it's so popular that there is actually a metal ladder permanently installed there!…
