Great hike for leisure or a nice workout! I've done this walk at different times of day and enjoy the early am while it's still cool and it's quiet! It's always clean and the landscape is spectacular!

Put on your most comfortable hiking boots and get set for adventure. Be sure to bring sunglasses, your cell (in case of emergency or photos), water, binoculars, and snacks. Be sure to arrange for a ride back to your hotel. You will be fatigued unless you are 16! Many whale, animal and bird sightings. The foliage and flowers are overwhelming.... More

I walked up and down this trail twice the week we spent in Maui because it was right near where we stayed. A beautiful walk, and a good place to take photos of the scenery, too.

This trail was pretty much as advertised. Not a hike but a nice walk along the coast from sidewalks and manicured lawns in front of some pretty upscale condos to lava fields and some spectacular wave action. There were even some younger folks doing a little cliff diving from some of the lava cliffs, nice to watch but too much... More

The Kapalua Coast Trail is a fun and beautiful place to visit. It is right on the busy west side of Maui.

Great walk along Kapalua beach and the adjacent coastline. Paved, boardwalk, or compacted dirt along the whole way. Mostly flat and gentle slopes. Views are amazing.

If you want a chance to see turtles while in Maui you could not find a better location. Hike to the dragons teeth, then a little further is a beach. The turtles are everywhere in the surf and near the rocks.

This is actually a very good hike for beginners. Not too difficult or steep. It is however a good hike for the experienced as well, due to the STUNNING views that are to be had along the entire trail. I can highly recommend this for any and everyone who wants to get out into nature, get a little exercise and... More

Beautiful and varied, yet relatively easy trail - and not too long ! Path ranges from sandy beach to pebbles and rocks. Shoes are recommended !

We went to the trail when the wind was about 25mph on a cloudy Monday morning. So parking was very easy. To find the parking lot, the GPS took us to the Montage which we had to turn around and really look for the sign or parked cars. It is a beautiful trail where you can even bring your strollers,...
