Get a new perspective on life under the sea with this adventure, which includes a clear kayak ride and a snorkeling trip. You'll head out to Makena Landing Park in Wailea, where you'll get to spot all sorts of local life, including coral and fish; if you're lucky, you might even see a sea turtle.

It was nice to find shade under the Banyan tree. Even though it was December we topped 80 degrees every day.

Beautiful, quiet park right in Lahaina! Enjoy the shade! Learn the history of the tree. Lahaina has great restaurants, an ocean view and many small shops. Great place to spend 2 to 3 hours. Pork Tacos at Captain Jacks are amazing! Great Happy Hour specials.

This area has been cleaned up tremendously and is very safe. Incredible & amazing tree toward the end of front street. The tree is very old and interesting to look at. Cool Cat Cafe has live music Thurs - Sunday nights and is close by the banyan tree (you can see the tree from the restaurant). Check it out. Also, you can take photos close by with live parrots. We have taken many photos over the years with Brian and the amazing parrots. Highly recommend checking out the banyan tree. Steve Concialdi

Definitely stop by the Banyan tree if you are near Lahaina. The tree takes up a city block with many branches and supporting trunks - it's incredible! It is right downtown and neat to walk around the old town with waterfront, park, shops, restaurants, etc.

If you are in Lahaina you have to go to Lahaina Banyan Court Park to see the Banyan tree there which is the largest in the United States. Though it may look like multiple trees it's actually one big tree. It was cool to learn about these trees and how they grow based on aerial roots that extend from the branches to the ground. The park also has lots of benches where you can sit and eat and relax for a while. There are lots of birds that live and hangout in/by the tree that kept our girls (5 & 7) entertained. We visited during the Christmas holiday season and the tree was covered in holiday lights and it looked beautiful at night. There are also the remains of a fort that was built back in the 1830’s that in the section of the park closest to the wharf.
