Took the morning ferry to Lanai and spent the day there, had a great time. Took the boat back at 4:30 and the water was much rougher. The ferry cut through the waves like butter but there was still quite a bit of up and...More

We had a very rocky ride to Lanai and return on this ferry service. The ride is about 45 minutes long in good weather. The captain is very good a manoeuvring and guiding the boat through the chop. Getting on in Lahaina in the morning...More

My husband & I purposed to visit Lanai during our 2014 trip to Molokai. The trip from Lahaina to Laini was relatively uneventful. The last scheduled return trip was quite exciting. Lightning in the distance & boisterous waves kept the return trip very interesting. No...More

We used the Expeditions Ferry to go to Lanai for the day. The ride there was fairly smooth, about 45 minutes. The ride back was atrocious, but that's because of the waves and winds so not the ferry's fault. Every ferry I have ever been...More

We enjoyed the trip to Lanai on the ferry. It was in good shape, had plenty of seats, and large windows to look at the views. They were prompt.

This is a great way to get to lanai and enjoy a boat ride at the same time. Always a nice relaxing hour ride, and sometimes see dolphins. Dropped you a five minute walk to the camping area and best Beach in lanai

Took the Lahaina/Lanai ferry to and from Lanai for our time there. Could have flown but this was much more fun. Going over we must have gotten ourselves into a school of very large fish. A dozen of them followed us for the better part...More

My son and I spent the day touring Lanai with Garrett in a very comfortable SUV. He was a third generation Lanai Islander and was informative, funny and kind. His knowledge and love for his island was infectious and we enjoyed every minute. Lanai is...More

It is a very large ferry. My guess a 100 or 200 or so.

If you only have a couple of hours I would bring snorkels, towel and swimsuit (as suggested earlier) and walk over to the beach. It's a beautiful one, dolphins like to hang out there once in a while. Perfect for a picnic... More
