This is a wonderful bay for snorkeling and swimming with turtles and sitting on the beach. It has showers available to use for rinsing off sand and a snack bar is available. Parking can be challenging but there are a few streets nearby that allow street parking.

Locals recommended this beach to us because the beach by our hotel had a red flag due to high surf warnings. This beach was mellow, but there was quite a bit of coral and rocks to avoid while swimming and snorkeling. There were also groups of college aged people hanging out & smoking pot near us. So that wasn't really... More

Napili Beach is a small beautiful beach which at times can become crowded. It is a steep beach with deep sand. Turtles love to hang out and feed near the rocks on the south part of the beach. The rocky area is also a great area to explore tide pools with sea urchins. Sitting on the rocks while staring at... More

Loved Napili Bay beach! Found it by accident actually and although the sand portion is small (and slanted, not much flat area) the water is calm and safe for swimming/snorkling. We saw lots of families there. Clean bathroom right there and the Sea House restaurant right there too (breakfast, lunch and dinner). We were going to try it but didn't,... More

If you have kids age 10 and old, they will love boogie boarding here. The waves are pretty large, younger kids will get pounded by the surf (my 4 and 8 year old lasted 2 minutes and 15 minutes respectively). But my 10 year old and I boogie boarded for 2 hours together and had a blast sighting the waves... More

Absolutely beautiful. We were so taken back by the beauty of this area of Maui. There are beautiful crashing waves on these beaches and so worth stopping to see.

Came here on suggestion of local, worth it. Not much of a beach, mainly taken by resort folks but get there early. Wave crashing on one side and the other great for the keikis. Snorkeling was a little turbid but the fish count was amazing. Follow the right hand shore along the path. Beautiful spot, nicely protected.

We have visited Maui three times over the last 20 years, and each time, I have enjoyed this beach. If you like to swim for 30 minutes uninterrupted, as I do, this beach affords the space to go back and forth in a protected cove. This year, we visited twice: once on Jan 2, then a few days later. The... More

This beach is very crowded especially during the summer months. I was able to see turtles when i went snorkelling in the bay area. Water is crystal clear. Very sheltered and safe environment.
