We visited the beach at the end of the day,, since the parking was a bit better than other times. The beach is small for those who want to work on their tans. But, for surfers, this seems like the right place! Everytime we passed...More

If you want to see some world class windsurfing and surfing, head to Ho'okipa beach park any day the wind is blowing. The athleticism and artistry of the surfers and windsurfers is worth a stop on the road to Hana.

We saw SO MANY sea turtles here! If you're staying on the west side of Maui and can't see any Sea Turtles while snorkling, then you HAVE to come here! Highly Recommended!

I was in awe of this beach. I have never seen up close surfing like this and I could have stayed all day watching these individuals on their kite and surf boards! It is truly worth the stop here.
