Love it totally- if you are lucky you will see a lot of turtles. Just don't miss the opportunity to stop. We meet a lovely old Hawaiian who told us extreme funny stories- I almost suspect he is waiting at the beach to have an opportunity to talk to tourists. Maybe you have luck and meet this old native Hawaiian... More

Enjoyed watching the surfers and even saw a couple of sea turtles up close as they snoozed on the beach.

We stood at the lookout and just enjoyed watching all the action. I actually could have spent a lot of time there... More

We walked along the beach on the way back to the car. We watched the boggle boarders battling the fairly large surf. Say some good rides. The beach is clean and there is good shade in the trees for non-sun worshipers. This is a nice beach to visited if you are in Maui.

One of the top sail ocean boarding areas in the world. Nice beach park with parking lot that can be crowded during big surf. People sit on the shore to observe the sail boarders.

The turtles come in and beach themselves to rest on the shore where you can get within 3-4 feet of them to take some photos. The surfers were having a nice time of it the evening we left and I believe there was a surf competition taking place further up the beach. It was a very pretty view of the... More
