Their tours are somewhat expensive, but the staff is 100% nice and helpful. I did not reserve a bike the day before so I didn't get the best one, but still it was a good quality bike. They will make sure you have all you need for the ride and they will even give you energy gels, drinks and bananas.... More

rode up Haleakala on my own and leap-frogged their tour group a few times and chatted with their guide a bit on the road -- nice outfit -- seemed knowledgeable and friendly and even offered me water, electrolyte tabs, etc even though I wasn't on their tour. the staff seems to really like what they do.

My son and I rented Scott Addict bikes for the trip up Haleakala. We also rented an aluminum frame and a hybrid bike for two others who would join us at the top for the ride down. Donnie and team worked at least 15 minutes past closing time to install pedals, my seat and a bike rack to get all... More

As an avid cyclist I had read about folks riding Haleakala.. So when we decided to come to Maui I had to give it a go. A friend of mine recommended this shop. I'm glad I did. These folks are pro. I reserved a carbon road frame in a size 56. The bike was a new Scott CR1 frame. The... More

I have now cycled with Donnie and his crew 3 times. Each time with different level riders (although I would suggest having some sort of skill level to attempt most of the rides). Each experience was incredible. They picked the best terrain you could imagine with great roads, little traffic, and stunning vistas. One day was climbing towards Haleakala, one... More

Tour #1 was up Haleakala...EPIC.... this ride was on my bucket list....ended up doing 27 of the 36 miles and climbed up to 7,500' before my wife and I decided to stop. Excellent support and advice. We will be back to do it again! Tour #2 was Upcountry loop around 25 miles and 2,500" of climbing. We stated the day... More

I recently booked a tour of Haleakala with Donnie at Maui Cyclery. It was a very good experience, and cheap considering what other cycle shops on the island wanted to charge me for inferior equipment. Donnie taught us lots about cycling and the Maui culture. Everywhere we went The locals knew him and respective him very much. Book a cycle... More

Overall a good experience. Donnie and the team were very accommodating with adding pedals and swapping out for a specific seat I normally ride on. I only made it to 6500ft on what was a spectacular ride. I hadn't ridden much in the 2 months previous and it hurt me trying to summit this epic ride. The swift weather pattern... More

Super knowledgeable, local staff - they know their bikes, and they know the area! Rides from Novice to Pro, nice bikes to rent (mountain or road) - guide yourself, or go with a guide. The mechanics are excellent, too - diagnosed a rear shifter problem quickly and painlessly!
