Nice shaded path. The rock itself wasn't much to look at, but we combined with the other lookout and the Mac farm tour.

Phallic Rock (kind of a hoot) is a short walk from the parking place. There is also a panoramic view at the same place and don’t need to pay for the hike or mule ride, unless you like to ride on a mule….

An easy walk out to the point where the rock is. Hawaiian legend goes way back in history. Looks like what it's called. Very interesting.

Unless you have a special interest in this particular rock and the legend, it's not worth the steep and slippery hike. There is no marker explaining the story or why the area is sacred. If you choose to go wear a jacket. It's cool here....More

Yes, the Phallic Rock Attracts People from All Over The World...but it also looks like a Giant Turtle depending on where you stand. The Rock is not easy to get to - at least half a mile away through a heavily wooded forest on uneven...More

This place is all about feeling the ancient energy! A relatively short, scenic, peaceful hike through the forest takes you past a number of large rock boulders (that may or may not have once been in a circle?) to the phallic rock. This a very...More

It's a just a rock, but the stories associated with it make it quite interesting. If you walked to the Kalaupapa Lookout, don't expect the same easy walk to get to the Phallic Rock -- it's longer and a bit more strenuous.

Our group of 4 took the short half mile walk/hike from the parking lot to see the Phallic Rock. It's a natural rock formation and for Hawaiians represents love and fertility. If you're in the area you shouldn't pass up the opportunity to see it....More
