Reef protected beach, great for snorkeling, nice sandy entry. Good parking, and beautiful view of Maui.

This easy to find beach (just past mile marker 20 on the highway to the east of the island) was well suited to families. There were a few local families and a couple holidayers there. It is rocky underfoot so if you have tender feet (like we all do in my family) water shoes are a must. The water is... More

Nice sandy beach but plenty of stones for the first few meters when you enter the water. There are no facilities.

At the East End of Molokai, Murphy's Beach is a beautiful spot. We visited during the week when there was only one other family at the beach. There are no facilities here. In the spring water is choppy and it can get very windy, but it is as far away from the hustle and bustle as you can get.

**Watch out for jelly fish!** We came here by recommendation from a local. There weren't a lot of people in the water (should've taken that as a clue). Water was warm & clear. Unfortunately hubby got stung by a jellyfish on his back 😟. We did see a couple of monk seals which was cool.

Great beach, one of the more popular ones, where there might be more than a dozen cars! Traffic jam! Boarding, swimming, snorkeling. Whales common.

Water is very shallow, no more than three or four feet. There's a ton of coral, but I didn't see any that was alive. There were almost no fish. Be careful of undertow.
