Shark's Cove is a lot less crowded than Hanauma Bay and a lot greater variety of fish. I saw an eel, my son saw an octopus, literally schools of fishes swimming with you here. The only downside is that it is VERY rocky you must...More

With our own snorkels and goggles spent a couple of hours viewing the coloured fish in the rock pools. This was our best fish viewing we experienced on the island. Reef shoes a bonus for the rocks. Also saw turtles.

Pupukea Beach Park is also known as Sharks Cove, but there aren't any sharks around. This is a small rocky beach with natural rocks protecting it from the waves. I've been twice in the past week. The first time the snorkelling was great! I saw...More

A beautiful beach on the North Shore with excellent snorkeling. Across the street is a food truck park with a couple beach shops as well. The place has bathrooms but parking is tough. The beach is next to Shark Cove. The waters are calm but...More

Shark cove is the best snorkeling spot in Hawaii. The kiddy pools or shallow tidal pools have tons of fish to see. We saw eels and all kinds of fish in the 3ft tidal pools. Dare to go to the deeper pools and you will...More

No real facilities, great snorkeling place, its in the same general area as 3 Tables and Sharks Cove. It can get crowded parking wise, there's the FoodLand within walking distance and all of the food trucks. Great beach, not as touristy as other beaches. Great...More

Park on the side of the road, and a short walk in through a beach access road will lead you to this gorgeous beach. Very spacious, span of sand for sun bathing. No toilets - but there are toilets just a little further down the...More
