Good evening
We are thinking of being on Oahu in early to mid January.
Both my teenage boys can surf and would probably be rated intermediate, but certainly no higher.
I love body boarding out the back but I am also no expert.
My questions are;
Are these beaches suitable and reliable in January
Is it possible to not just have a lesson but a 'camp, where the boys are taken to an appropriate location on the day or each day. We are thinking of being there for thre or four days.
We would love mum, my wife, to have a go but she is an absolute beginner. Is that also possible. I would happily join her.
Thank you for your time
Phil
Beaches are reliable in Jan and depending on the surf thats rolling in you go to the different beaches that suit your talents
First day head out together and get the local kNowledge and forecast, then you can split up and go to the various braches on subsequent days.
Basically moving east from Hale'wia the breaks get harder.
Pue'ena point is where you start with beginners and intermediate, them move to Hale'iwa. All very friendly.
