Beautiful beach in North Shore, famous for the Pacific green turtle sightings, unfortunately they did not come up to the shore that day.

We stopped by here on a rainy day and were lucky to see Olivia, a large turtle, just hanging out on the beach. We appreciated the sign someone had put near her, which told us her name, weight, age, and about her travels (she has a tracker). We also appreciated the 2 volunteers who were there to make sure no... More

We didn't get to see any turtles as it was raining quiet a bit... but we still wanted to at least see the beach which was still beautiful.

This is the place we saw a Sea Turtle sunning himself on the beach. If you are staying on the North Shore, you should not miss this experience. This beach is just a mile past the Foodland heading South, and on the way to one of the main Northshore towns, Haleiwa Town (if you are staying in Turtle Bay). Likewise,... More

A social service organization called Malama Na Honu had a volunteer with ID sheets set up with info about the turtles who were visiting the beach and it was really fun to learn... More

What a great way to see sea turtles - they come right op on the beach! Parking is sketchy, so is crossing the busy highway - but so worth it!

Absolutely thrilled that we got to see a sea turtle up close! I was told that at certain times there has been up to 7 turtles at one time. The drive up to this beach from Waikiki is so beautiful as well, definitely worth checking out.

You'll be able to find this spot with your GPS and seeing tons of cars parked along the side of the road. Cut through the trees to get to the beach and look for a crowd of people all huddled together and you're sure to see some turtles! Please don't get too close to them; so many people were trying...
